Thursday - Alumni Reception; held at our host hotel Ayres in Manhattan Beach, CA. From 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Invited guests are the following: all LAAA Board Members, any platform participants, any working staff for the weekend, any career fair presenters or participants, and any LAAA faculty or staff.

Friday - Career Day Fair & Luncheon; held at LAAA from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Loma Linda, La Sierra and Oakwood Universities,as well as Pacific Union College, along with a host of LAAA Alumnus who return to the campus to share their professions with Academy Students.
Chapel will be given by the LAAA Alumni Association.

Sabbath Divine Service - begins at 11:00 AM in the LAAA Pavilion.
Dr. James Doggette (Class of 78); Senior Pastor of Madison Mission Seventh day Adventist Church and Professor at Oakwood University, School of Religion.

Sabbath Afternoon Program - "Then and Now" begins at 4:00 PM in the LAAA Pavilion, with Dr. Calvin B. Rock, (Class of 47) Retired Vice- President of General Conference and Board Chairman Emeritus of Loma Linda Medical Center/Loma Linda University.

You will not want to miss this exciting program. You'll hear from some former students. Meet children of some popular former students.
Hear more music from the Lynaires.

Find out secrets about events that stumped the faculty & staff
And hear for the first time who is the Alumnus of the Year, Teacher/Faculty of the Year and Family of the Year.
Vespers to close the Sabbath will be included in this program.

Saturday Evening - Old School vs. New School Basketball Game. It will begin at 7:00 PM in the Pavilion.
You will not want to miss this historical event.
Come and see LAAA's Alumni version of the Harlem Globe Trotter's.

We will end the evening with a Grand March led out by Dr. Calvin B. Rock.

Food will be sold, sponsored by the LAAA Athletic Department.

Also, there is talk about a rook game. ummmm!!!

Sunday Morning - LAAA Alumni Association Meeting, at the Ayres Hotel Conference room at 10:30 AM.
• Come and hear the objectives of the Alumni for the remainder of 2012 and 2013, as well as an update regarding previous goals of the Alumni.
The Executive Board will be voting in 10 NEW Members at Large to the 2012-2014 term. If you want to sevre on the Board please let one of the Board Members know in writing this weekend.
• Refreshments will be served

On March 15 2009 and after 85 years, the former students from Lynwood, LA Union, Los Angeles Academy, and the 'new'  Los Angeles Adventist Academy formed the first Alumni Association during the 2009
 LAAA Alumni Homecoming weekend.
